Resurrection
Death is the prerequisite.
The gift of a child is to believe easily, without the burden of proof. The pain of our maturity is to doubt everything, no longer able to trust. Then mayhap comes an awakening we call faith, as well as a new belief that the good draws the good unto itself. Our quivering voice follows, speaking the words of our fathers, mothers, the mystics and ancients. And though the sound may come from us, it is the words which carry wisdom from those long gone. This is the mystery we call Resurrection.
