Thus begins one of those days when I can wring no meaning out of the saturated sponge within my bloated head. Thoughts congest and worry me, while even clear skies overhead cannot coax my heavy spirit into liberating flight. I tell myself this is good, that I’ve lived this day before. Almost instantly I feel lighter, as though my soul is set free.
