...it’s hard to unsee.
Any drunk will tell us they drink for reasons we can all understand. Most truths are bitter, hard enough to swallow, and harder to accept. I must accept my life will never be lived perfectly, knowing I’ll always struggle not to judge others. I find it so easy, not taking illicit drugs or drinking to excess. Yet I struggle mightily to suppress the rage I feel at my own powerlessness to change the way things are.
