Oh My Heart
My heart is full. Thus these sweet words begin to form on my lips, like the drops of dew heavy on the summer grass. My heart is my soul’s mouthpiece. It initiates a hug and a kiss. It writes poetry and letters. It moves my hand to open doors and my feet in the service of others. My heart beats in such perfect harmony with all the wild tempos, and all the rhythm players to a song I call, A Life Well-Lived.
