More Than Human
The tie that binds...
The world is more than human. It bears repeating so I won’t forget: This world is so much more than human. When the poet says cold spreads like frost across a window, I can feel it. When I pick up a fallen leaf and begin to smile, admiring its perfection, I can see it. When I can’t sleep and my stomach turns, when I bury my knowing and it sprouts as wonder, when I tell everything I love you and profoundly mean it, I am more than human.
