Let's Weep

...until we laugh.

The God who loves you
also makes you weep;
makes all of us weep.

So let’s weep
along with the rain
which cleanses this Earth,
swelling the seeds of change
so they may burst forth
and bloom with fruit
of infinite color.

Let’s weep big salty tears
at each death,
let’s weep with joy
at each birth,
let’s weep until we discover
life is circular.

Let’s weep in solidarity
with those who are suffering.
Then let our tears come together
into oceans of love and compassion.
