Less Is Always More
This morning I’m wanting to feel better about me, so I apologize for my anger which can burn white hot and, if I allow it, keeps me at a distance from my love. There are those who kick and punch, and those who scream and hurl things. I’m one of those whose voice grows bitter and uses his words to wound. Sitting quietly with dogs and spending time alone in nature, tells me less is always more and there is no excuse not to love. I often forget why it is I write poetry. Then I am reminded through my verse that whichever way I go the Universe is circular and we’ll always meet in the end.
