Just Let It Happen

Say yes.

What is the meaning of light?
And what is the value of yes?

No one really knows
until they’ve spent time
lost in the darkness,
unable to say yes.

How many noes equal a yes?
And how much time is wasted
building walls and monuments
in reverence to stubbornness?

Until yes becomes a reflex
and no is just something
lost in your drawer,
follow that man,
follow that woman,
who loves every song,
agrees with everyone,
and feels right at home
everywhere.
