It's Not Time
...yet.
It’s cold, too damn cold. Only a few days ago I was burnin’ up in the late season sun. Warm in my office, I feel open to suggestion as I try finding cracks in the absolute certainty wanting to claim me, both body and soul, for the machine world. So I ask the maple trees right outside my window, Why do you hold tightly to your leaves? The wind swells, gathering in their branches. Then I hear them reply, Soon, but now’s not time to let them all go.
