Here All Along
...in the presence of eternity...
This is another poem, not about the poem I planned to write, but about the one still being written. My mind is full of ideas, but my soul works antithetically. Wouldn’t you agree our experiences take root, fed by our emotions flooding inward? Yet who we truly are is never the person we come to know through all that heavy thinking and feeling. The chaos and hellfire we once invited in the sincere desire to know our souls, becomes tiresome as we grow older, less romantic. When every other thing slows down to a trickle, we find who we really are was here all along.
