God Has Angels Everywhere
The ethical infants have got us by the short hairs. The weight of their fear is crushing us, and feels closer than the sun. I don’t point. I don’t condemn, or summon my anger to challenge theirs. In the mornings, I still contemplate my old snakeskin rotting in some corner, while I practice love; through tiny actions like loving myself, and the equally important task of loving my neighbors. My day starts with a pen because a knife wasn’t cutting it. I could see, but not clearly enough, until I peered through the looking glass called my heart. God has angels everywhere. Invite them into your life.
