Everything I Need
Amen.
I have been given
everything I need
to become human
among humans,
among other animals,
and among all life and matter
present on this Earth.
I breathe my heart open,
the air filling me
with a childlike innocence,
and then slowly exhale
the warm moistness of my being,
adding myself to the morning mist.
Peace is precious,
yet present in each breath,
and in the radical wisdom
I have everything I need.
