There you stand,
alone,
nowhere to go,
overwhelmed.
Thinking, What is this pain?
I’ve never hurt like this before.
Am I going to die?
Am I already dead?
How lucky you are!
How lucky!
And you don’t even know it.
Just breathe.
Breathe.
Breathe.
Life has led you into darkness,
to teach you a new way of seeing.
Take that first step.
Go deeper into the unknown.
Follow the path as it unfolds.
Let all the feeling you feel
pass right through you.
Listen to the words:
I love you.
I love you.
I love you.
You will not be spared your life.
But you are free to offer it for others.
