Come to Silence
A poem about the transformational power of silence...
I look for the raucous voices suddenly gone silent in this noisy world. Perhaps they’ve awoken to the soul within everything, becoming one with this one life. The dream spirit arrives at a most suggestible moment, urging us into a forest. We may enter by a paved road, but we emerge barefooted through a thicket. A person coming to silence is a curiosity within a world blinded by the speed of light. Yet as our kinetic being reaches an infinite mass, we all come to silence.
