A poem about seeing things differently...
Did anyone else notice the ordinary and lovely scene of the young woman patiently assisting her stooped grandmother as we all left the funeral? It makes me think back to when I was a callow youth and still knew everything. That was a much different time, and I know I’d have seen nothing but the old woman’s broken teeth.
