An Ordinary Life
This morning I wonder why I am not as light as a feather. I cannot stop all the thinking adding undue weight to my being. The door to my office is open, and from just beyond the opening I notice my dog staring at me. He sees me looking at him, then hops on three legs plopping himself down next to where I sit. Here I am, a little bit sad and a little bit worn out, with a lame dog my loyal companion. Is there anything better than an ordinary life for lifting the weight off a burdened soul?
