Ambiguity
...can be a great comfort.
She says, He is my heart. Her words seize my soul, the metaphor rings so true. He is my heart too, and nothing seems more tenuous in times of uncertainty than my beating heart. I close my eyes and sigh, I can’t take this anymore. Gently, my stillness reveals anger and grief, my obstinate refusal to accept any loss, my inability not to seek remedy for each tiny suffering. The meaning of my pain, though ambiguous, compels a peaceful search for a deeper understanding, and the sacred duty to keep my heart strong.
