A Point of View
Everyone has one.
My dog knows things I will never know. He smells things I didn’t know held a scent. He sees this world from only twelve inches above the ground. When he hears something deep within the silence, I watch him tilt his head to listen more closely. You and I are human, but we too absorb this world from various perspectives. We frequently notice what the other does not, and react to worldly stimuli with distinct sensitivities. It’s a wonder we agree on so much! Aren’t you amazed we made it this far together, living in a subjective world with all of our relationships mediated by the senses?
