A Fix for All of This
My truck could use some new tires, and this morning I told Melissa I’d hang some more pictures. But first I want to clear out the garage, and take a few things to Goodwill. So here you see my virtues, right next to my flaws. I’m a doer and a fixer, though not a peculiar species, especially among Western men. For me there is always a precariousness, my life tipping out of perfect balance, while I rush from side to side hoping to avert a disastrous spillover, which would mean little and do nothing to keep the sun from rising tomorrow. I hope to live a long life, to one day become a doddering old man, a wizened and jovial bloke who still stands to pee. - That is if I don’t stumble into a fix for all of this.
